By car

Burrowbridge sits on the A361 between Taunton and Glastonbury. From the M5, leave at junction 24 (Bridgwater South) or junction 25 (Taunton) and follow signs for the A361 to Burrowbridge. Stathe Road runs from the village along the River Parrett. Look out for Burrow Mump, the hill with the ruined church, as you come into the village.

Towing a caravan

Stathe Road is a narrow country lane. Take it slowly and allow room for oncoming traffic. If you have a large or twin-axle caravan, tell us when you book and we will send you the easiest route in.

By train

The nearest stations are Bridgwater and Taunton. Both are a short taxi ride away. Buses to Burrowbridge are limited, so check times and plan your onward journey before you travel.

Winter flooding

The Somerset Levels are low-lying and some roads can flood after heavy rain, mostly in winter. Check local travel news before you set off, and contact us if you are unsure.
