Site rules
Oak Lodge is a small, quiet site. These few rules keep it that way for everyone.
- Quiet hours: please keep noise down between 10pm and 7am.
- Driving: drive at walking pace on site and park on your own pitch.
- Fires: [campfires allowed in fire pits only / no open fires]. Barbecues must be raised off the grass.
- Dogs: [dogs welcome on a lead / no dogs]. Please clean up after your dog.
- Rubbish: take your rubbish home or use the bins provided, and leave your pitch as you found it.
- Children: children must be supervised by an adult, especially near water and the sauna.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring my own tent or caravan?
Yes. Oak Lodge is a bring-your-own site. We have pitches for tents, touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes.
How much does it cost?
Tent pitches are £15 a day, caravan pitches £25 a day, and large caravan pitches £35 a day. Sauna sessions are charged separately.
Which pitch do I need for my caravan?
Choose a caravan pitch for a standard single-axle touring caravan or a small campervan. Choose a large caravan pitch for a twin-axle caravan, a motorhome, or a larger van with an awning. If you are not sure, tell us your vehicle length when you book.
When can I arrive and when do I need to leave?

Are you open all year?
Yes, you can book any dates. In winter, some roads on the Somerset Levels can flood after heavy rain, so check before you travel. See Getting here.
What facilities are there?

How do I book the sauna?
Tick “Add a sauna session” on the booking form and we will quote it when we confirm your pitch. You can also contact us to book a session. See the sauna page for safety guidance.
Do I pay online?
No. Send a booking request through the website and we will email you to confirm your pitch and explain how to pay. Nothing is charged online.
How do I cancel?
